~~ MY BEST XMAS EVER! ~~
Today, Daddy just bought back last week 8days. It made this years Xmas a special one for me.
My love for architecture, I can feel it coming back to me now.
I think its has been 3years+ ago ba...
Villa Santi is my 1st project that I work on in my 1st real job after graduation from SP. My 1st baby.
Several developments together made up Villa Santi; there is the apartments fronting the sea, the condos, the exculsive suites, the eclipse- shaped restaurant, and the chalet like resorts at the top most. It was just at preliminary design stage when I 1st got involved, with Dear Danny(senior architect now associate i think) and Jeff(my director) and a handful of colleagues.. Waaaa.. this is really bringing back lots of fond memories.. the good old days..
I remembered the restaurant was real pain in the ass to cad. its ecplise leh. the roof panels, columns and window had to be drawn in 3d to get exact cut lines for sections, and dimensions for later tender, construction dwgs.
I remembered the dozens of sections I cut through the developments. Those are fun! think its after Villa Santi that I started to love drawing sections. Its only through sections that one can really see and appreciate the spaces within.
I remembered having to coordinate structurer dwgs, MnE, interior, Kitchen designer and the landscaping dwgs, updatings.. . checks... emailing back and fro.... amendments.... it all seems pretty worth while.. this sense of adrenaline I feel seeing the baby that I was so involved in completed and in papers. I feeel Proud even. Haaa. So happy. Cant explain.
I had my 1st chance of working with ever bubbly Mark, my 3D mentor. I've learned super great deal in Max n photoshoping. I had the chance of doing rendering. Those were tiring yet so much fun too!

Be waiting in anticipation to visit Villa Santi. Phuket shall be my next holiday destination!!!!
