Dear's female cousin's wedding
Rise and shine @ 7am and off to Dear's house before we set off to JB. Dear drove.. reached Bride's house bout 10am. Bridegroom was already there, trying to get his bride to open the door. As not to miss the 'auspicious time'.. the hong bao negociation was cut short in the Jie Meis' dismay.. Bride finally out.. tea ceremony.. phototaking session.. then they are off to Bridegroom's house.
Me and dear stayed at bride's house for lunch buffet before heading back to dear's house. Had a quick rest and we are off to Holiday Plaza.. its Shopping time!!.. it turn out to be quite boring thou.. not of my taste. We window shopped. Dear manage to get a cool polo T. Back @ dear's house 5pm. Slack abit more before bathing and getting change for the Dinner.
Reach the restaurant @ 8pm. To my surprise there's a HUGE hall that belongs to the restaurant, not in the least as bad as a good class hotel. Its a 'Thousand ppl feast' (literal translation frm Chinese) Bridegroom is a business man. The Wedding dinner sure is much happening then the Singapore wedding, at least for this. There's a hired MC and the usual slide slide show of photos. In addition, there's artists performing on stage while we eat. Even a Karaok session after that, guests goin up the stage without hesitation to sing, and not bad singing too. Bride changed 3 gown though out the Dinner. Food is ok. I got headache in the middle of the dinner which affected my appetite.. Weak and sickly.. I was Almost half dead at the end of the dinner.. Enduring.. Dear and I depart to Singapore straight after. I slept the entire journey back home.
