To continue my 'Ai Guo Jing Shen'... hee.. posted a photo for the Smile2006 online mural for the coming IMF. :)

A relaxing and very enjoyable day today. Jie Lin came over to my house to slack together with me. SO sad Chyi cant join us, needs to work.. there goes our majong session..any way we ordered Pizzadefrance (taste so much better than Pizza Hut), had a disastrous manicure session (fun still), Jie tried to fix my sis's hopeless computer (as predicted, its hopeless), and just chill and blog together (she brought her laptop). :) Do wish she could stay over, would be soo much more fun, but she needs to work tom, further more jielin mummy dont approve, wonder why.. wat a spoiler.

Since I'm in such a happy mood today, I shall recall back what I've missed out for the past weeks when I'm MIA. Hee..

.: Pulau ubin cycling trip 16.07.06 :.

My 1st ever cycling experience out of Singapore main land- Pulau Ubin!! Its suppose to be a fishing trip, but i explain later.. Dear and me set off to Changi after lunch. The wait for the bum boat to Ubin was surprisingly fast. Initially thought Ubin is a Ulu place whereby not many will go, and becos the boat only leaves when there's 12 passengers, guess I'm the mountain turtle. Any way, we are in the boat and heading towards Ubin in less then 15mins, reached in 10mins. FAST!! Ubin is actually not as rural kampong as i've imagined it to be. We rented bicycle (only $3 for a whole day, to return by 6pm. Wow!!). Along the way to our fishing destination, we saw durian trees (no durians to pick, sad) and some interesting insects, saw a gigantic spider (I'm a city kid).. after an hour of peddling we finally reach our fishing spot. The fishing wasn't a great success.. keep getting our fishing hocks entangles amoung the rocks and mangrooves .. resulting in a lost of a few hooks and weights.. saw archer fishs. mud skipperes, and some other small fishes..(saw a male dog humping a female dog.. faintz..) after a short 30mins of fishing nothing, we gave up (also its getting late) and get back to cycling.

People @ ubin are real friendly and so approachable. We were looking around for durians as a small group of family cycle by, suddenly we are in this chat about which tree is durian tree, how to identify 1 blah blah.. very casual, very truthful and sincere conversation, 'bu zuo zuo'.. I wonder y cant ppl in Singapore main land be like this too..

We went over to the beach for a quick photo taking session, then was intending to leave the island after this.. but just then i found prawns among the shallows of the rocky beach. haa.. we ended up catching prawns for the next 30mins or so. It bring out the kid in me and Dear, We had so much fun!!! Wonder when's the next trip back here again. A good retreat away from the city.

Met Jet and his friends @ devils bar.. been there before.. dont really had a good impression of it.. just seems like a uncles place to me. They opened a bottle therefore entrance fee waivered, since i dont drink that much, I wasn't required to pay. hee.. tats gd.. went in drank a few.. dance a little.. music not to my liking.. played guessing games (tats the only fun part).. drank a bit more.. then it was time to head home.. Din really stayed till too late, having this annoying stomach ache, further more, its a trip to PUlau Ubin the next day!! :)

.: Cycle & Blading @ East Coast Park 08.07.06 :.

As usual, morning archery training with dear.. After that, headed to East coast park to meet up the girls n their partner. Chyi had to work therefore was late. Therefore while waiting for her, we went ahead to cycle first. This is the furtherest I've cycled so far.. past by the bedok jetty and saw the cable ski lagoon.. it looks so cool.. maybe when I'm well toned enough some day, I might try that.

After an hour of peddling, Chyi finally arrived.. went for blading.. Chyi and Terrance bought their own (Chyi's bought her brother's).. Haa.. Look like pros.. any way, the 6 of us geared up.. only Jet and Terrance are familiar with the wheels(thou both needed some warming up too), the rest struggled to balance. After a few falls and screamings, hee... most did manage to gain control and start blading. Alvin was unlucky.. apparently his shoes are faulty and too loose.. therefore it was a bumpy 1 for him. I thought I did quite well, considering this is my 1st attempt, of course credits to my dear. :)

Dear and me departed 1st as we had another programme in the evening.. Headed to Bedok sports complex for a quick bath. heee.. then we are off to bugis to meet dear's friends' for steam boat.. and that wasnt all for the day.. our next stop was to Giraffe..

A place for wine and dine, good place to chill out. Met Jet and his pals @ night. Got my palm read by one of his friend. Hm.. what he said was a bit shocking, but i believe one decide how one's final fate would be. any case its the 1st time every I tried any fortune telling thingy, its cool. Good to know. But wont believe blindly. THEN... we headed to PS mac for bits (can u believe I accomplish so much in a day.haa.. i'm amazed myself) It was almost 2 am i think when we all depart to head home.. SO tired.. I had to wake up early the next day too.. be having a Family trip down to Pontian to visit some relatives..

.: NDP Preview. Sat. :.

Hooray!! Got Preview tickets all thanks to my cousin Silin!! All my 22 years, this is my 1st time ever to watch and experiencing NDP live right infront of my eyes, not just waiting outside the stadium waiting for the fireworks performance.. the waiting game gets pretty boring after a few years. Wahaaa.. but not for this year, feel so lucky to be able to watch it, furthermore this is the last NDP @ our old kallang stadium before we bid farewell to it. The whole atmosphere in during the NDP was pretty high, everyone is either in red or white, we sing songs, did the kallang wave (the 1st time I see Everyone actually participating and making the wave a success!!).. everyone was cheering real loud.. then the Pledge and the national anthem.. Suddenly it just makes me feel so touch, tat ppl are as 1, being together as 1 nation. Finally not forgetting the Fireworks!!! I LOVE NATIONAL DAY!! (might be partly due to my anni falls on the same day, heee)

Happy 22nd Birthday to JIE LIN!! You might be preparing for your romantic dinner by the beach some where in a resort in Phuket now. Ah.. Lucky gal. Alvin u really noe how to make ur girl happy. :) I wonder what Jie is goin to get for me when she's back. haaa. I'm so greedy.

Congrates Ham Ze!! Cant wait to see the 1st ever Hamster to fly!! really happy for u. Similarly to our Silkair Girl, happy and excited for you too. Congrates!!! our future gatherings going to be filled with even more to to talk about, to listen to the stories you guys bring back from ur flights. :) Hm.. but tat also means to get everybody to meet up will be even tougher when 2 are constantly flying.. hm. until then..

I'm just utherly lazy. Haven being blogging for the past 3 weeks. Any way I'll just start with today and maybe if I'm hardworking enough i'll share the wonderful happening for the past 3 weeks.

Its my last day of work in AWP (yet again) Sad feeling of leaving not as great.. come to think of it.. hm.. i don't feel sad at all. Been telling myself the next job'b gonna be another new environment, new ppl, new experience for me.. Yet.. somehow.. deep down I sense this wont be the last AWP will see the last of me. I'm PLain lazy remember.. anyway.. I'm feeling depress as my holiday is ending.. dreadful school is about to start. Have not planned my time table, had not decide what extra modules to take.. argh.. study room to tidy up (its a junk yard, so messy!!).. and not to forget my bed room.. equally unlivable.. I wan a longer holiday.. So much stuff to do, so little time..
Its now 5.15pm.. 45 more mins in AWP.. I'm counting down.. be flying off at 6pm.. go home for dinner. wait for dear to call, watch my 9pm tV, 11pm re-telecast of Desprate housewife, MAybe blog awhile more (so many photoes to wan to share wit u guys).. sleep..

Just back from lunch.. Its Pasta day again.. yap.. met Candice for lunch.. Runny nose since this morning.. i wonder how long its gonna leak.. my pack of tissue not goin to last me any longer...

SICK MOUSE
Being wishing the same old things every Sunday night, that is to not work on Monday.. Wish is granted.. I've fallen sick... and hey I got 2 day MCs.. a bonus from just missing work on a Monday.. *being sacastic* Today is Tuesday and I'm feeling as shitty as ever... body aching, runny nose, headache.. feverish.. hope I'll get better by tomorrow.. Haven being doing much at home.. thought i could utilise this MC to do some tidying up.. but I'm just too tired and weak to do anything.. end up sleeping the whole day.. wat a waste...

I've just taken my medication.. before I go unconcious again, Let me recap my weekend..

Saturday
Went over to granny's house, Da yi, Er Yi and my mother San Yi (the 3 aunties) all present. I was told that we will be goin over for a 1 day trip to 'Pontien'(A place in JB) hm..think I got the spelling wrong. anyway.. purpose of the trip is to visit a relative of my big aunt. Apparentlly the 3 aunties thought it would be a good 'educational trip' for us, the city kids to go experience the kampong way of life. Hm.. I'm fine with the idea of goin, in anycase its a day trip, How bad can it be. Just need to prepare my mosqiuto repellant. Hey, I'm also not the one driving there, hee so i shant complain.
Stayed till 5pm before Jet came over to my granny's to fetch me. We went over to my house.. rested a while.. I washed up.. we had dinner.. then we head off to Wala Wala in Holland to meet his friends. We went up to the 2nd floor (its non-smoking area COOL) where theres a life band. It was O-K only. Had a bailey Irish creme with milk and can hardly taste the bailey.. and it (the Milk) cost me $13.50!! stingy bartender.. hm.. although technically I wasn't the one paying for it (its my dear). still i can feel the aching, heehhh.. Still considering the free music and being a non-smokers area, I wont mind goin back some day, but no more Bailey..

Sunday
Dear stayed over at my house last night again.. Hehh. maybe I should allocate a cardboard in the study room for his fresh cloths and stuff. We woke up just in time for lunch then we went over to his house. Dear tidied his house, I helped a little. hee.. then set off to Causeway pt to get a present for my sister. I figured that the clothes i bought for her dont seem appropriate for a 18th BD. It should be something that can be kept in years to come.. Bingo, ur right. i've decided on a diamond pendant. Tianpo was on sale, i saw this tear drop white gold pendant wit a tiny diamond at the bottom.. Simple. elegant. young design. just right for my sister. got it for 50% discounted price. I wonder how true the old price was. anyway it was worth it. :) Money well spent. It was about 8 plus before send me home. I wasnt feeling well already... it got worst at night. I could not sleep at all ..terrible.. Endured till mon morning to see the doctor..

Horay!! Its Friday again. Time passes real fast this week. Work's starting to pile up.. its good news.. at least i feel useful. Hee..
Little sister's BD this coming Sunday, so thought of spending some time with her shopping.. (Its pay day today!) Dine @ Genki Sushi in Marina. Its horrible.. little choices comparing to Sakae (correct pronounciation as Sa-Ka-e, not Sa-ke) and the chi-na chief cant do a proper sushi roll.. rice spilling out of the seaweed.. overflowing toppings.. argh.. just spoils my appetite.. I'm gonna add Genki into my little black book..

Due to our unsatisfactory dinner earlier on.. I decided to have desert @ Haagen Daz. I noe i'm suppose to be on diet.. but i don care. haaa.. need to satisfy my sweet tooth... was feeling bit hyper after drinking my Mocha haa...the effect of caffine.. kept snapping pics of sister and our drinks & keep bugging herto take pics of me too. WA haaaa.. its A Great Friday evening! :)
